WHAT TO SEND

Request a quote with the details that matter

A useful quote starts with the commercial brief rather than a perfect specification. Approximate information is fine at this stage; if something changes, it can be checked before an order is confirmed.

  • Product or idea — tell us what you want to make, or what the merchandise needs to achieve.
  • Quantity — an approximate total helps identify realistic production methods and price breaks.
  • Artwork status — finished artwork, a logo, a rough concept or no artwork at all can all be a starting point.
  • Deadline — include the date the finished goods are genuinely needed, especially for an event or campaign.

A CLEARER BRIEF

Four details that make a custom merchandise quote more useful

Custom merchandise can often be produced in several ways. The best option depends on the job rather than one universal print method, so a few practical details help narrow the route before time is spent on artwork or production planning.

01

Product and finish

Tell us whether you already know the product, size, material or finish you want. If you are choosing between options, explain the intended use and we can compare suitable routes rather than forcing the brief into the wrong method.

02

Quantity and variants

Approximate quantity affects both production method and price. Mention different designs, sizes, colours or delivery splits where relevant because a total of 500 identical pieces can be a different job from 500 pieces divided across many variants.

03

Artwork and branding

You can request a quote with finished artwork, a logo, a sketch or simply an idea. Let us know what exists now. Artwork requirements can then be confirmed before production rather than guessed at the quoting stage.

04

Deadline and destination

Give the date the goods are needed, not only the date you hope they will leave production. Delivery location, event deadlines and approval time can all affect what is realistic, particularly for bespoke work or larger quantities.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

From quote request to a production-ready order

Submitting the form starts the conversation; it does not commit you to an order. The brief is reviewed first so the proposed price, method and timing are based on the project you actually need.

01We review the brief

Product, quantity, timing and artwork status are checked together.

02We recommend the route

The most practical manufacturing or print method can be identified and any missing information clarified.

03Pricing and timing are confirmed

Your quotation can set out the agreed scope, production assumptions and expected turnaround.

04Artwork and production follow

Once the quote is accepted and the order requirements are confirmed, artwork approval and production can move forward.

For the contractual position once an order is accepted, read the Terms & Conditions.

YOU CAN START EARLY

You do not need finished artwork to request a quote

Many projects begin with a rough idea rather than final artwork. If you know the purpose, approximate quantity and deadline, that can be enough to start discussing a production route. Artwork can then be checked against the chosen process before anything is approved for manufacture.

If you already have artwork, mention the format and any fixed brand colours or positioning requirements. If you do not, explain the intended look and share any useful references later in the conversation.

BEFORE YOU SEND

Common questions before requesting a quote

What if I am not sure which product I need?

Choose “Other / not sure yet” and describe the intended use, audience, quantity and deadline. Those details are often more useful than guessing a product name too early.

Do I need to know the exact quantity?

No. An approximate figure or useful range is enough to start. If several quantity levels would help your decision, mention them and the project can be assessed around realistic production breaks.

Can you quote before the artwork is finished?

Yes, where the production assumptions can be identified. Final artwork still needs to be suitable for the agreed method before manufacture, so the quote may note any assumptions that need confirming.

How quickly can custom merchandise be made?

Turnaround depends on the product, manufacturing method, quantity, artwork approval and current capacity. Give the real required date in your quote request so the team can assess the appropriate route rather than rely on a generic lead time.

READY TO START?

Send the brief and request a quote

Product, quantity, artwork status and deadline are enough to begin. Add what you know now and the next questions can be handled from there.
